THE DISTRICT

The new Fourth Congressional District is based in the heart of the Triangle, encompassing all of Orange, Durham, Granville, and Franklin counties, northern Wake County, and parts of Vance and Chatham counties. Like so many others in the region, David and his family have long cherished the Fourth District’s good schools, safe neighborhoods, and thriving business climate.

In our community, we value diversity, helping our neighbors in need, and building a brighter future for everyone. This starts with an economy that works for everyone, not just for those at the top. The uneven economic recovery has left many families struggling to meet growing costs in the face of rising housing prices, increasing health bills, and skyrocketing education costs.

President Trump and Congressional Republicans are increasing inequality by pushing through a massive tax giveaway that benefits billionaires and corporations, while increasing our national debt. David fought against this tax scam legislation, and instead he promotes policies that enhance our quality through improved public education and worker training, better roads and transit options, affordable housing, enhanced air and water quality, and targeted investments in research and innovation.
